New Merchandise Dropping this Spring

ShesBallin Showcase - Middle Edition

San Antonio Tx - Factory of Champions
This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending Ray Caldwell's ShesBallin Showcase.  An inagural begining to the spring club season.  When it comes to exposure in San Antonio and surrouding areas.  Quality events are far and few inbetween.  This one is the exception.  Professionally ran, with certified real evaluators who are actually influencing the game were in attendance.  We began with the middle school event.  Some 80-100 6-8th grade girls decended upon San Antonio from as far as Lubbok Tx.  Energy was high and so was the talent on display.

Notable payers and standouts from the day.

Right off the bat you have some of the usual suspects who have been catching attention for years.  26'  LA Sneed is one of those players.  She came onto the scene about 2 years ago and hasn't slowed down.  She is fast end to end, solid frame which allows her to take and finish through contact.  She showed all weekend that she has a high IQ.  Delivering one hand full court passes on target, creating shots for others, and displaying her ability to get past defenders when she needed to.  LA is on pace to be a highly ranked and recruited player in a couple years already holding a host of offers from P5 schools.

Another player that we have started hearing about last couple years is 27'  Bella Fleming.  Kid is beyond her years on the court. Her IQ is off the charts for a player only in the 6th grade.  She is already so poised when on the floor.  Doesn't over do it, and makes the right play to WIN.  Something that isn't always valued at these Showcases.  She has great size for a guard, and she isn't done growing.  Handles well, makes layups with both hands, and sees the floor in transition.  Already holding an offer from a D1 i'm sure her stock will rise as she matures and grows into her own.

26' Izzy Palmer Heritage middle is one to keep an eye on.  At first glance she may not meet the eye test.  Average height for a girl in the 7th grade, thin in frame, but big in shiftiness and handle.  Izzy has ability to get anywhere on the court she wants with her handle package.  High IQ player that can control the point.  Great feel for the game, and competes at a high level.

Ruke Ogbevire - Leaman Junior High a shifty guard with great handle and feel.  Dog mentality when she is coming down hill at you.  Does really good job creating space on the bounce, and has ability to finish left & right through traffic.  I look for this sleeper to open some eyes as she progresses through the years.

Jazman Bailey - Mansfield Middle athletic guard, with a tight handle.  Loved her footwork on defense.  Length and anticipation made it difficult for offensive players all camp.  She can really handle the ball in tight spaces.  Uses her body well to get shots off.

Milania Jordan - Southlake Carrol This payer has great size, and an even better IQ, she ran the floor well, and constantly put pressure on the defense with her handle.  A long and athletic guard that is going to grow into developing alot of advanced skills.  She showed a great feel for the game by creating plays for others, and not over doing it on the offensive end.
